The P.I.C. Maintenance story is one of entrepreneurship, hard work and perseverance.

In the early 70's, Roman Kuchersky moved to the United States of America from the former Soviet Union. His parents left their homeland with a few hundred dollars, two suitcases and their child to begin a new life. Watching his parents grow and succeed in their own businesses, Roman took hold of that work ethic, obtained a college degree from Wayne State University, and began work in the service industry.

Early in the 1990's, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, Eric Raykinstein moved to America and to Detroit with a college education from the University of St. Petersburg and an entrepreneurial spirit. After quickly grasping the English language, Eric began selling cleaning chemicals and supplies to large and small corporations.

Through a variety of friends and family, Roman and Eric met and the rest is history. Both recognized the need in the janitorial and building maintenance industry for high quality, dependable, reasonably priced cleaning services and P.I.C. Maintenance was formed.

Today, P.I.C. Maintenance, Inc. is one of the larger, Detroit area based building maintenance companies, capable of serving organizations with a diversity of sizes, locations, products and services.
